scion of trifutre, the currently missing archaean of balance. tasked with saving the multiverse from destruction, which he wasn't supposed to know but well here we are.

made for a fully homebrewed multiverse-traveling D&D campaign! its been going for years, so naturally he's developing and changing constantly. him knowing he's made to save the multiverse is a slippery slope that he tries to stay on top of, refusing to give up on what's right even if he didn't want to be the one to do it.

personality

cocky, but not arrogant! no matter how high the stakes, he wants to have a little fun with whatever he does. definitely lost the energetic spark he had in his early adventuring days, but keeps a certain playfulness in his heart that'll never go out. it's in his nature!

he wants to do the right thing, but "the right thing" usually isn't cut and dry. he grasps at shreds of his past, whatever vague jargon the people he meets will tell him, in an attempt to uncover anything about what he is and where trifutre ended up. he's conflicted, he's tired, but his party is always there to back him up.

FAMILY

Trifutre [creator]: one of three archaeans, been missing for years. nirv never knew them, but does everything he can to learn about who they were.

Nyarlathotep [fellow scion]: the scion of tumeroth, would be nirv's cousin if you looked at it from a traditional family tree perspective. they fought for a long time as their fundemental worldviews and missions conflicted, but circumstances led them to working together and coming to at least a shaky understanding.

The Hollow Child [fellow scion]: the scion of interia, would be nirv's cousin if you looked at it from a traditional family tree perspective. it and nirv only ever interacted in fighting over a decade ago, he has no clue where it is now.

FRIENDLY

Nezii [partner]: nirv would die for him, but nezii keeps dying first! their relationship is under strain for how infrequently they're able to see each other, the multiverse just isn't kind to their relationship. regardless, nirv loves him more than life, and never forgot him through their years-long periods apart. he fears nezii might not feel the same anymore. their ship name is feathertrigger <3

Rippley [party member]: nirv's longest standing party member and best friend! they've been through almost the entire campaign together, and nirv knows that he can rely on them for anything.

Bon [party member]: like everyone else, they've grown closer through their travels. they often play blackjack together when they get a break from the horrors.

Nitro [party member]: the most recent addition to the party, nirv and nitro get along just fine. they don't talk much directly, but have clear compatability in combat and as adventurers.

Puersiator [ex-party member]: once very close to nirv, but they've barely spoken to each other after puersiator's ascent to archaeanhood, taking the mantle from intertia. regardless, nirv has fond memories of their travel together and knows that puersiator does too.

Lemon [ex-party member]: traveled with nirv for a long time, but left after inheriting the throne of persatia to rule over its people. while not as close as they once were, nirv still drops by whenever he can to catch up.

UNFRIENDLY

Kalici: bodysnatched nezii and assisted in destroying his robotic counterpart. nirv considers her extremely untrustworthy, and can't forgive her for essentially killing his boyfriend and piloting his body. their ship name is misfire [i cannot believe they even have one but the drama is so tasty]

story

hooh. we are not getting a play-by-play of the past four years here. let's briefly go over the important parts

background

as far as nirv remembers, he grew up in a desert town being attacked by four-legged robot invaders. he holed himself up in his workshop, where he'd already been studying the concept of the multiverse, and finished up his work on the dimensional revolver to escape.

that's not what happened, though. in reality nirv is a scion, the descendant of one of the three archaeans of the multiverse, trifutre. he was placed in the central hub of the multiverse with a fabricated backstory, completely unaware that his purpose in existing is to save the multiverse from an upcoming calamity.

the beginning

he works as a tour guide for the city for a while, before meeting up with the party and uncovering the hidden schemes behind the hollow coven, the ruling class of the multiverse. turns out, their end goal is to find someone to use as a vessel for the hollow child, the archaen of their religion, and they've been at it for quite a while.

the over-arching plot of season 1 follows the party defeating or befriending the hollow coven members, and stopping their leader from tearing up time and space in his pursuits.
